Need for Product
With every mosaic your child creates, they'll boost their early problem solving, color recognition, and spatial awareness skills. These pattern blocks are a great teaching resource, perfect for elementary school to high school art, mathematics, and geometry! An excellent tool for the Montessori classroom, manipulatives help young learners grasp mathematical concepts and give a hands-on experience that reinforces important lessons. Great for sorting, measuring, and counting. This product comes with a booklet containing 16 pre-made patterns that were originally from the manufacturer.
Identity & Packaging Execution
After conducting some marketing research, it was found that unicorns and dinosaurs were the most searched keywords for kids. When flipped from one side to the other, a scene for each mentioned creature is shown using the blocks. The unicorn and dinosaur were created from the blocks, which took some time to concept and make sure each piece fit perfectly. This approach to the product needed an environment for each to dwell, so the backgrounds were created with the same idea of shape in mind yet not letting them overpower the product images. The colors are bright yet not too saturated to keep kids engaged. The title lockup communicates the mosaic patterns and interlocking of pieces.
