Introduction to Plantlife
Plantlife humbly began in 1994. Since then, they have been manufacturing all natural, aromatherapy products that are good for customers. They use fresh organic herbs, 100% pure essential oil, raw plant oils and other natural ingredients that feed the skin and restore the body. Each of their aromatherapy creations is prepared with the intent of enriching one's life as well as not harming the environment.
Before & After of Plantlife Artwork
After receiving this product in the mail, it was decided to take it and do a revamp on it. What was concluded from the extensive research conducted was that Plantlife uses a clear label for body oil and an opaque label for massage oil to differentiate between the two. Unfortunately this does not showcase much of a difference between the two types of oils. It was also noticed that the bottles look frosted, which makes the contents inside look rather unappealing. To show a difference between the two products they should try using different bottle shapes and caps. This would avoid confusion between the products and also make using them easier. Also, the caps should be white and bottles should be clear that way it tells the consumer this is a natural, true, clean, modern product ready for use. Finally, a hierarchy was introduced with the graphics because on the old bottles it was difficult to discern the type of oil from the brand name and paired it with easier to read fonts.
Body Oil Bottles
For the body oil, they should use a bullet shaped bottle with a flip cap. This would make it easier to use during bath time as well as showcase its everyday use.
Massage Oil Bottles
For the massage oil, they should use an oval shaped bottle with a saddle twist pump cap. These changes hint at the sensual aspect and also make it feel a bit more like a specialized product.
