Need of Products
The department of sales at Brybelly decided to showcase older stock of product, but never expected for wholesalers to be interested in their wooden barnyard toys. The only problem was that the account holders did not care for any of the old product graphics and packaging. It was decided that multiple old products and some new would be revamped and created to come together to form this collection.
Line Look & Execution
Once the brief was given, it was decided within a two week turnaround what this entire collection would look like and multiple assets were created in a very short amount of time. To give this collection a completely unique look from anything else inspiration was taken from Grandma's quilts, sewn patches and buttons, jean material, and combined with vector farm scenes to create a sense of home, warmth, natural, and down to earth. Each pattern is custom and every color scheme, patch, and button is carefully considered to make everything cohesive yet have some sense of individuality for each product and package. The scenes are used as backdrops for the products to be placed in. This is meant to entice the young minds to enter into this busy barnyard world.
Packaging Artwork & Execution
Packages are first covered in a pattern and also assigned a scene based on the product. Once those assets are placed, then patches, buttons, and colors are added to enhance the packaging and give it a bit more character and charm. This is a modular approach to packaging artwork and works across multiple types of packages easily.
Packing Products in Packaging
In order to showcase the products to customers effectively, custom packaging dielines are created as well as inner trays to wire product components into place. Below, are diagrams sent to manufacturers to let them know how each of these products should be packed into the custom boxes.
