Need of Products

To add to this loose product line for Brybelly, Poker Keno was born and with it an elevated and cohesive look to bring this line together. Brybelly Elite was created before given this project, but for some reason it just did not sit well together and had a lot of other cheesy issues. After conducting research and seeing the original products in this line, which were cards and dice; it was decided that this line needed some serious changes if it was going to be elevated.

Line Look & Execution Featuring Poker Keno

The branding and filigree were kept from the original, but the use of blues, red, and white were added. Before this project, the colors were all over the map except for the original set of Brybelly dice as well as a pack of cards. These two things drove the use of these new colors and created a foundation that Poker Keno adhered to so everything would sit together nicely on store shelves. To elevate Poker Keno further, custom illustrated title lockup, aces, and card backs were created. To entice customers, compositions on the packaging and PDQ were laid out in a playful and fun way and created a backdrop to the title lockup.

Packaging & PDQ Artwork

These are only a few examples of packages done for this line, with Poker Keno being the star. All artwork is custom and all dielines were also created. The blue is the main color, and then the darker blue and red are used as accents to set it a part from the original blue. The filigree adds an extra asset to set it a part from other offerings.

Packing Products in Packaging & Poker Keno PDQ

One particular thing that sets Poker Keno a part besides the elevated look, is the PDQ. After studying and testing other PDQ designs, it was decided to go with this one. What is unique about this PDQ design is that when folded together, the top of the box rips off at the one perforation line across the top to reveal an already shelf ready PDQ with inner tray with stabilizer corrugate pieces to hold each shrink wrapped Poker Keno into place. This is different from other shelf PDQ designs because it only uses one perforation line and already comes assembled. Below, are diagrams of how Poker Keno as well as its PDQ is assembled together.
